National Strength and Conditioning Association
More than 45,000 members rely on the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) to provide guidance and expertise about the strength and conditioning profession at all levels—strength coaches, personal trainers, healthcare practitioners, students, and more.
NSCA Head Strength and Conditioning Coach
When this trusted expert organization decided in the summer of 2016 to revamp its 6,000-square-foot training area in Colorado Springs, the NSCA chose Hammer Strength.
The installation of a dozen HD Elite racks (customized with NSCA logos), Hammer Strength plate-loaded equipment, and a few Life Fitness cardio pieces help make the facility the best in the business.
“The NSCA is a member-driven organization representing a wide variety of professional practitioners,” explained Scott Caulfield, the head strength and conditioning coach at the NSCA. “Hammer Strength’s equipment has crossover appeal that works for all our members, not just those in one specialization or another.”
The training area is used by an impressive, and interesting, array of exercisers. Teams from visiting colleges, youth and high school sports teams and Olympic athletes benefit from the facility. It’s also used by tactical groups like SWAT teams, the FBI and first responders like police and fire departments. Caulfield mentions that the NSCA facility has even been a workout space for guests like country singer Brad Paisley, wrestler John Cena and the band Fall Out Boy.
“We chose Hammer Strength because of its reputation as a leader in innovation and its dedication to providing strength and conditioning professionals the highest quality and best designed equipment in the industry,” said Caulfield. “Also, the customer service and reliability of the Hammer Strength team we work with is unparalleled. The team at Life Fitness and Hammer Strength has been incredibly supportive of the NSCA, on many levels. They share our dedication to education, through Hammer Strength clinics, and have stepped up to support our members in many different ways.”
